In August 20th, Jingshan Wanshou temple was held to commemorate the 1270 anniversary celebration cum Keng Shan mountains and Chinese Zen Culture International Symposium opening ceremony. Director of Hangzhou Municipal United Front Work Department Minister Dong Jianping, the Public Complaints Bureau Guo Qingye, President of the Buddhist Association of Yi, Tibetan monks, President of the Buddhist Association of Ningbo integrity monk, President of the Buddhist Association of Hangzhou light spring monk and nearly 500 from Japan, South Korea, Taiwan region of the Buddhists and the community attended the celebration activities. The ceremony, provincial leaders and Buddhist circles together for the first monument unveiling.

Jingshan temple was built in the Tang Tianbao period, dating back more than 1200 years of history, when the Southern Song Dynasty, Jingshan Temple reached its peak, known as the "five ten brake first", "southeast of the first Zen institute". Jingshan temple has a very important position in the Chinese Zen tradition, Jingshan tea culture is profound, the influence on Japanese Buddhism and tea is profound, is the ancestral home of the Japanese tea ceremony, Japanese Buddhist Rinzai source.

The main contents of this celebration including Guanyin temple and meditation on beam method for throwing a net, pioneer monument unveiling ceremony and Jingshan and Chinese Zen Culture International Symposium. Experts and scholars from Japan, South Korea and the domestic well-known universities and research institutions of more than 100 people will focus on the development and protection of the theme of Keng Shan Zen to in-depth study and research.
